Our kaimahi (employees) enjoy a whnau-friendly workplace and a great range of benefits to support their wellbeing and that of their whnau: M tnei mahi | About this job We are seeking two (2) Kaiako to deliver our Certificate of Social Services in Bicultural Social Services Level 4 programme, which involves but is not limited to: developing lesson plans, presenting material to tauira (students), responding to tauira learning needs, and evaluating tauira progress. Some flexibility may be required to work some weekends and evenings.

These are fixed term (until 31 July 2026), full-time (37.5hrs per week) positions, based on-site at our campus in Mngere . Mu | About you The Kaiako will have extensive experience within the Social Services field to deliver our Social Services programme in a bicultural framework.

You will provide expert knowledge in bi-cultural knowledge of engaging in relationships and kaupapa, bi-cultural knowledge of purposes, obligation and legacies of social services, and the relevance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi to social services in Aotearoa New Zealand. Ideally, applicants will have a: Bachelor degree relevant to social services or equivalent NZ Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching Level 5 (NZCATT) or equivalent, or be willing to complete during the first year of employment. Full NZ Driver License Clean Police Record; As a kaupapa Mori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of huatanga Mori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
